Things to pay attention to when using scented candles

Dec 19, 2023 1

Aromatherapy candles are not the same as ordinary candles. They can emit various fragrances for a long time when lit. How to use scented candles is also very particular.

Do not light ordinary candles and aromatic candles at the same time, because the former will absorb the aroma of the latter.

Only use one or two fragrances. Our sense of smell will feel numb because of the variety of fragrances.

Try to choose a candle with a larger candle surface. Because when the candle is burning, the more tears are gathered in the candle area, the stronger the aroma will be.

Trim the candle wick frequently. Excessive wicks will affect the fragrance emission. Trim the candle wick to a length of 0.50.8cm when burning (please turn off the flame first). This prevents black smoke from being produced during combustion.

Place the refrigerator for several hours before use to slow down the burning speed of the candle!

When the candle is burning, please avoid placing it in a windward place to avoid the candlelight from shaking and tilting, causing dripping or unsightly phenomenon. It is recommended to keep indoor air circulation when burning candles.

If the candle drips on the furniture, please wait for it to solidify before peeling off. The residual wax can be melted with a hair dryer or iron before being wiped off.

When extinguishing the candle, please do not blow it out by mouth to avoid white smoke and burnt smell. It is recommended that you use toothpicks or short iron wires to place under the candle wick, push the candle wick down, let the wax liquid extinguish the flame, and then cool the candle wick vertically. Doing so will not produce white smoke and burnt smell, and it will be more convenient and labor-saving next time you light it.

Avoid placing the candle in direct sunlight to prevent the candle from fading due to long-term sunlight. When the weather is hot, keep the candles in a cool place to prevent softening.

Please place the candles out of the reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion; do not let young children light candles or touch burning candles!
